In the year 2000, I received a small desk calendar full of quotes titled, An Angel Says... I absolute loved it and its wisdom touched the bottom of my soul. So, when I was the Life Skills facilitator at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre, I sometime would put a quote from this calendar up on the board for our class to journal on. Some of the thoughts that that spouted from this exercise were truly inspiring. Since this little calendar continues to be a treasure to me, I decided to share the inspiration with you by quoting some of the wisdom from its pages.
An Angel Says...
...you can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future. [Sounds like advice we could use right now.]
...Sorrow looks back. Worry looks around. Faith looks up.
...when you throw mud at someone, remember you are the one who is losing ground.
..the only safe and sure way to destroy an enemy is to make him your friend.
...a man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle.
... he who is happiest is he who gives the most happiness.
...there is no right way to do the wrong thing.
...learn from others mistakes, you will not have enough time to make them all yourself.
There are another 356 more inspiring little sayings in my 4" by 4" small desk calendar, which are just as thought inspiring as these ones. If you are interested in more, contact me. I have printed off multiple pages of quotes and I have them on one of my disks, and I would love to share them with you.
Blessings in this season of bounty, Sherry

Comments about Disgusting Things You Would Rather Not Know About Mummification
Hello Everyone
This is a great website to use in front of the class as an introduction into Mummification. The website walks the students through the steps of mummification interlacing humour, cartoons, and factual information. Three other graphic novel are also linked to the website including the Roman gladiators, whaling, and explorers. Check it out the kids will love you!!

Sherry, I really liked those quotes! Especially the first one! That one really hits home for me ... I am a HUGE worrier! It's one of my habits that I need to try and break ... I really like the quote ... it gives me somthing to think about.
I usually don't like inspirational quotes, but those are really great - thanks, Sherry! Sometimes I think I should write a bunch of post-its with messages like these and put them all over my house to remind myself to be a more pleasant person. I might have to take you up on that offer of getting a copy of these angel quotes!
